He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Stevens and Carrie Stevens (Smith); his daughter Inger Frazier; his brothers, Bill Stevens, Mac Stevens and J. R. Stevens; and his grandson Jeremy.

He is survived by: his wife Beulah Stevens (Jernigan); his children, Jesse Stevens (Patty), Connie (Scott Ellis) and Belinda (Larry Hart); his siblings, James Wright (Paula) and Mary Christopher; his grandchildren, Jason, Jacob, Matthew and Miranda; and his great grandchildren, Mariah, Makayla, Finnley and Zoe.
