He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Jackson and Bernice L. Peebles (Brazeal); his son Glen Peebles; his siblings, Danny Peebles and Jeannine Elledge; and his children-in-law, Elke Blue and Robert Lee.

He is survived by: his wife Sherrie Peebles (Simmons); and his children, Debi Lee, Kim Thomason (Dale), Susan Durant (Tom), Carey Peebles (Rhonda), Alicia Tibbets (Scott), Cody Blue and Cherith Knight (Kevin).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jackies' name to St. Jude.
