He was predeceased by: his parents, Herschel O'Brien and Elsie O'Brien (Allen); and his son Perry O'Brien. He is survived by: his wife Carol O'Brien; his daughter Karry Lamb (Jerry); his grandchildren, Dustin Lamb (Shavonne), Brittany Cash (Ryan), Brandi Samford (Joey), Jackie Crosby (Ronnie) and Catherine Dawson; his son Bobby Olson; and his great grandchildren, Holden, Miley, Weldon, Meyer, Von Cash and Justice.

A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Alexander's Midway Chapel (3607 E Hwy 199, Springtown, TX 76082).
