He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gerald Lyle and Naomi Wood, Sr. (Lowry); his wife Carla Birdwell Wood; his siblings, Hollie Wood McCabe, Allen Wood and Penny Wheelis (Gaylynn); his stepdaughter Sammi Jo Bracks; and his stepgrandchildren, Khadijah and Bianca. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews and extended family.
