He is survived by: his sons, Billy Roy Carpenter, Jr. (Sherrie) of Springtown, TX and Bradley Aaron Carpenter (Shelly) of Olive Branch, MS.; his wife Doris Ann Bizzell; and his siblings, Vernon, Gene and Janice. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren.
