He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lawrence and Inez Glaze Lawrence; his former wife Cathy; his brother Jerry Lawrence; and his grandson Matthew Bryant Ball.

He is survived by: his wife Loretta Corbitt; his children, Diane Ball (Jim), Brenda Garth (Dirk) and Rick Corbitt (Kristen); his sister Janice Ruth; his grandchildren, Kristi Ball and Jim Kelly; and his great grandchildren, Matthew, Kyler Ball, Kyndall, Avery and Emery Kelly.
