He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund Spalding and Frances Spalding; and his sister Loretta Spalding-Duvall. He is survived by: his wife Wendy Jo Spalding; his children, Frances Celis (Carlos), Kathy Lee Coffey, Lori Brownmiller (Scott), Dana Spalding, Brandon Alvey (Wendy), Jonathan Alvey and Sarah Alvey (Alex Hughes); his grandchildren, Brayden, Luca, Anabel, Aiden, Lindy and Silas; and his siblings, Ed Spalding (Sharon), Harry Spalding (Lana), Ron Spalding (Robin), Chris Spalding (Kathy), Rita Hubbard and Jo Ann Spalding (Diane Burkhart). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
