She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Leo "Tom" and Jane Gates (Summerlin); her husband Bob Lee Rowan; her siblings, Buck Gates, Pete Gates, Bill Gates and Tommie Lee Gates; and her grandson Kevin James.
She is survived by: her children, Rip Rowan (Rhonda) of Leander, Ted Rowan of Springlake, Texas, Cindy Bone of Lewisville and Robin Burch (Mike) of Dallas, Texas; and her grandchildren, Robert Bone, Lori Thurston (Derek), Rylan Rowan, Coleton Burch (Cassie), Bradley Burch (Madison), Rhett Rowan, Rowan Burch (Teresa), Ashlee Jackson (Alex Merrill), Zach Rowan (Maddie Meyer) and Matt Waskow (Miranda). She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
