He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Cleveland and Grace Cleveland; and his sisters, Dot Kitchens and Christine Oglesby. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jean Cleveland; his children, Elise Shirey (Bruce), Kathy Donigan (Tommy) and Trey Cleveland (Kim); his grandchildren, Will Shirey (Sara Holl), Samantha Shirey, Kyle Donigan (Kristin), Lindsay King (Clayton), Carson Cleveland (Danielle) and Graham Cleveland; his great grandchild Brody King; and also Maribeth Fogg.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that any donations be made to the organization Hospice with Grace or Villages of Gleannloch Farms Legacy Fund.
