She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Edwin and Eula Cheairs Harter; her husband William Carl May; and her brothers, Paul and Jack Harter.
She is survived by: her children, Sharlein Wooten, Darla Claiborne (John) and Russell May (Tina); her grandchildren, Terra Stone (Dwayne), Robert West Jr., Kyle Wooten (Rose), Jessica May and Ashley Curtis (Patrick); and her sister Doris Jean "Eve" Hiner (Bob).
