He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Myers and Ruth Myers; and his siblings, Pete, Don, Richard, Paul, John George and Ann.
He is survived by: his wife Karline Mertins; his daughters, Michelle Simkins (Kenny) and Beth Sharp (Warren); his grandchildren, Christopher, Hannah, Heidi, Jeremy, Kayla, Taylor, Alyssa and Lauren; his former wife Barbara Martin O'Hara; his son John O'Hara (Lisa); and his brothers, Butch, Bud and Tom.
