He was predeceased by: his parents, David Eugene Garrett and Jeanette Sewell Garrett. He is survived by: his wife Carol Yeakley Garrett of Conroe; his children, Stephanie Welder (Duncan) of Galveston, Kyle Garrett (Tyna) of Livingston, Steven White (Kelli) of Spring and Susan White of Conroe; his uncle Glenn Sewell (Linda) of Coppell; and his friend Wayne Mormon of Greenville.
