With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Pernie Jewel Dunson of Spring, Texas, who passed away on September 21, 2022 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilburn Ruthven and Sara Ruthven; and her husband Robert Dunson, Jr. (Bob). She is survived by: her brother Lernie; and her children, Sarah Dunson Corie of Baton Rouge, Robert Dunson III of Conroe and Leslie Dunson Frye (Bryan) of Spring. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
