He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvin Onstead and Ollie Onstead; and his brother Charles Randall. He is survived by: his wife Ella "Maxine" Johnson; his daughter Janith Miller of Houston; his sister Jean Gilreath of Dimmitt; his granddaughters, Katrina Penley and Krystal Esparza; his great grandchildren, Madison Penley, Maddox Penley, Mayson Penley, Tristan Ramos, Hadley Esparza and Sophia Esparza; and his nieces, Donna Jean Vee, Judy Pierce, Sandra Onstead, Gail Peace and Kathy Onstead.
