He is survived by: his children, Reagan (Amye), Parrish (Amanda) and Cherrish (Thad); his grandchildren, Emerson Pettey, Lily Pettey, Georgia Pettey, Holden Helmig, Hartley Helmig and Hawkins Helmig; and his sister-in-law Becky Anderson.
