She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivan Johnson and Novalee Johnson; her husband Dr. Glenn W. Rice; and her daughter Terri L. Rice. She is survived by: her daughter Gina Rice Hughes; her grandchildren, Dr. Jerod B. Patchin and Brenna L. Sanchez; her great grandchildren, Joshua, Nicolai, Elijah and Ezekiel; and her siblings, Linda Wisenbaker, Martha E. Wooten, Pamela K. Brooks, Ivan Lebert Johnson, Jr. and Larry D. Johnson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
