He was predeceased by: his mother Concepcion Cano; his son Martin; and his brothers, Paul and Jimmy Flores. He is survived by: his father Martin Flores Sr.; his wife Adelina; his daughters, Carmela Wadding, Angela Flores and Edith Foret; his granddaughter Lily Foret; and his brother Henry Flores.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to University of Houston and noted INH of Martin Antonio (Marty) Flores Scholarship (Endowment for Composition and Music Theory Studies).
