He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Cherry and Chlora Pearl Beane Cherry; his siblings, Dean Cherry and Alma Mabry; and his brothers-in-law, Bill Mabry and Thomas Farmer.
He is survived by: his wife Sadie Cherry; his sons, Blair Cherry (Belinda) and Scot Cherry (Tricia); his grandchildren, Amy Staines, Ashley Cherry, Alexandra Ibarra, Aubrey Cherry, John Paul Carinhas and Connor Cherry; his great grandchildren, Dylan Rodriguez, Zander Staines, Claire Staines, Zoe Fuentes, Hendrix Ibarra and Hayes Ibarra; his sister Vivian Farmer; and his sister-in-law Tommie Cherry.
