He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucille Harvill and Burt Harvill. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Harvill; and his children, Jonathan Chase Harvill (Megan), Daniel Harvill (Kathryn), Patrick Harvill, Teresa Taylor (Michael) and Heather Edwards (Jason). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to support the research at MD Anderson Cancer Center.
