With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margie Ruth Burroughs (Spring, Texas), who passed away on February 9, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Howard; and her parents, Emmett Samford and Gladys Samford. She is survived by: her friend Jimmie Lou; her sons, Mack (Mary Lou), Mike (Tammy) and Marty (Tammy); her grandchildren, Mike Burroughs II (Joni), Jonathan Burroughs (Amber), Lori Burroughs, Jenny Wright (Alex), Crystn Hendrickson (Sara), John Burroughs (Elissa) and Ashton Cardenas (Marc); her sister Jeane Crabtree (Ray); and her sister-in-law Jimmie Ribble (Tom). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Northwood Church (7750 Spring Cypress Rd, Spring, TX 77379). A celebration of life was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Flowers are welcome, or in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Living Waters Church in Kerrville, Texas, where Howard and Margie's son, Mike Burroughs, is the pastor.
