She was predeceased by: her parents, J. D. Vinson and Norma Nell Vinson (Youngblood); her husband William "Bill" Darnell Jr.; and her brother John Norman Vinson. She is survived by: her children, William Darnell III, John Timothy Giraud Jr. and Francene Giraud; and the father of her children John Timothy Giraud Sr.. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren.
