She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Eugene Blount II and Alice Rose Denning Blount; and her brother Charles Eugene Blount III. She is survived by: her husband Nelson Gene Herwig; her children, Penny Jo Reilly, Kurtis Vaughn Herwig, Walter Eugene Herwig and Fritz Herwig; her grandchildren, Lauren Herwig, Christopher Herwig, Andrew Herwig, Hannah Herwig, Emma Herwig, Ashley Noack, Matthew Noack, Thomas Reilly, Trinity Alonzo and Seth Herwig; her great grandchildren, Addison Hegge, Jaxon Hegge, Peyton Noack, Cash Noack and Clayton Noack; and her sisters, Carol Wood and Mary Elam.
