He was predeceased by: his parents, Adam Grant and Rosa Grant; his wife Glenda; his grandson Harold "Taff"; his grandparents, Adam and Rosa Grant; and his siblings, Adam Grant Jr., Ezekiel Grant Sr., Leroy Grant, Lula Mae Grant and Octavia Hampton.
He is survived by: his children, Tiwanna "DeDe" Grant of Houston, TX and John Johnson (Andrya) of Dallas, TX; his grandchildren, Kevin Johnson (Marquita) and Jasmine Johnson; his great grandchildren, Donovan Johnson, Kennedy Johnson and Kendall Johnson; his sisters, Elnora Gordan, Lorena Littlejohn, Ollie Hardin and Rosa Brown; and his sisters-in-law, Arease Grant and Josephine Grant. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
