She was predeceased by: her parents, John "Bubba" Johnson and Mollie Richardson Johnson; her sister Susan Velma Ingram; and her brothers-in-law, Greg Jones (Penny) and George Jones (Elaine).
She is survived by: her husband Bernard "Babatunde" Jones; her daughter Dr. Kettisha Jones; her grandson Khari Jones; her sister Peggie Williams (Tyrone); her aunt Ida Richardson; her brothers-in-law, Bruce "Ali" Jones, Frank Banks (Alberta) and David Jones (Yvette); her nieces and nephews, Raquel Jones, Kayla Jones, Akiah Banks, Tyrone Williams II, Greg Jones, Jr. (Davina), George Jones, Jr. (Santa), Kordel Jones and Daniel Vernon; and her godson Curtis Bullard. She is also survived by many cousins, grand nieces and nephews, and friends.
