He is survived by: his parents, Katherine Kristin Scheaffer of Spring, TX and John William, IV of Jefferson, LA; his stepmother Michelle Armbruster of Jefferson, LA; his grandparents, Steven E. and Bonnie H. Klemstine; his uncle Steven James Klemstine; his great-grandparent Edward J. Portafe of Virginia Beach, VA; his grandmother Cathy Couvillion; his husband Jerry Couvillion; and his grandfather John Harkins.
