He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin A. Klein and Roberta Theiss Klein; his son John Callaway Klein; and his grandson Aidan Immroth. He is survived by: his wife Maria Whitmore Klein; his children, John W. B. Klein, Katie Papetti (Ryan), Kimberly Cauthorn (Clay), William A. Klein (Mandy) and Hallie Immroth (Andy); his grandchildren, Clara Rose Papetti, Cal Cauthorn, Rebecca Cauthorn, Anna Cauthorn and Nate Immroth; and his siblings, Sonja Rose Klein, Allan R. Klein (Alma) and David R. Klein (Mary). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Grace Lutheran Church of Crockett, Texas and MD Anderson Cancer Center.
