She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Sloan and Virginia Sloan; her nephew Jeffrey Dow; and her niece Denise Dow. She is survived by: her spouse John D.; and her son John A. Ruck. She is also survived by 2 grandsons and their spouses: Jeremy & Sarah Karnowski and Joshua & Natalie Karnowski; 2 granddaughters.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
