He is survived by: his wife Dawn James McKensie of Spring, Texas; his children, Siobhan Moore (Todd) of Hays, Janel McKensie-Poage (Charles) of Austin, Texas and James McKensie of Conroe, Texas; his grandchildren, Tristan, Everleigh, Gwendolyn Moore of Hays, Eleanor, Harrison, Rory Poage of Austin, Texas, Emma, Socrates, Winston, Lulu and Reese; his siblings, Marilyn Chester (Joseph) of Houston, Vivian Ladet (Rick) of Houston, Jeanetta Spencer (Michael) of Houston, Patrice Mckensie-Jones (Lionel) of Houston, Texas and Johnathan Walker (Venus) of Houston, Texas; and his stepsiblings, Johnnie Walker Jr. (Barbara) of Houston and Mildred Marie Phillips. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
