She was predeceased by: her husband Johnnie Louis Grein, Sr.; her parents, Beulah Daniels and Tolbert Daniels; and her brothers, Bobby and Velton Daniels.

She is survived by: her sons, Johnny (Janice), Melvin (Connie) and Craig (Roxanne); and her grandchildren, Steve, Mike, Jason, Brian (Amy), Chris (Kim), Brandi (Rick), Tanna, Grant (Elizabeth) and Dalton. She is also survived by 22 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
