She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Wilma Chester and John Chester; her husband Francis Leon Smith; her grandparents, Vera Brooks Wham and Lyle "Pop"; her children, Crystal Comeaux and Brad Smith; her son-in-law Clint Comeaux; her siblings, Melanie Susie Scott and John Brooks Chester; and her grandchildren, Madeline, Reid Comeaux, Brock and Bridge Smith. She was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
