He was predeceased by: his parents, William Joseph and Vera Holmes Boyd; and his wife Bobbie Lee Rodgers Boyd. He is survived by: his children, Rod Boyd (Cathy) of Muscatine, Mike Boyd of Spring, Texas, Roxie Boyd Ewing (Bill) of Foley, Teresa Boyd Yarbrough (Scott) of Merigold and Kim Boyd Colburn (Johnny) of Inverness. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
