She was predeceased by: her parents, Matteo Russo (Martin) and Carmela Russo; her husband Hans (Dirk); her sisters, Rose and Ann; and her daughter Nancy.
She is survived by: her brother Santo; her children, Dirk Schlichting (Kay) and Deirdre Schlichting (Jason Spets); and her grandchildren, Misty Smejkal (James), Ryan Schlichting (Kayla), Dana Schlichting, Cody Foster (Reina), Scott Foster (Lindsay), Connor Foster (Lindsay), Savannah Spets and Landon Spets. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Ignatius of Loyola Catholic Church (7810 Cypresswood Dr, Spring, TX 77379). Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church (7810 Cypresswood Dr, Spring, TX 77379). A graveside service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Houston National Cemetery (10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77038).
