He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Kyle McCarley and Douella "Irene" Bauer Hardy; his sister Beverly McCarley Vincent; and his brother-in-law Ronald Vincent. He is survived by: his spouse Johnnie Jackson McCarley; his daughters, Shelly McCarley Shultz (Gregory) and Shannon McCarley Van Orden; his stepchildren, Deborah Wardrup Maddux (James), John Wardrup, Deanna Wardrup Green (Raul) and James Wardrup (Melissa); his grandchildren, David Shultz (Jessica), Ashley Shultz Abke (Randy), Jacob Maddux, Kaitlyn Walston, Brooklynn Van Orden, Trenton Van Orden, Forest Green, Hunter Green, Brayden Wardrup, Zander Wardrup and Avery Wardrup; and his great grandchildren, Andrew Abke, Lillian Shultz, Kyle Abke, Hannah Shultz and Elizabeth Abke.
