She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Robert Holmes; her parents, Jack Brown and Fannie Brown; her brothers, Jackie Brown and Dennis Brown; and her grandson Austin Wayne Holmes.
She is survived by: her children, Helen Holmes Collins (Michael) and Stanley Edward Holmes; her stepdaughter Mary Lynne Holmes Smith (Ron); her granddaughters, Amanda Holmes Thomas (Jonathan), Brandi Collins Ellinger and Hannah Michelle Matthews; and her great grandchildren, Hannah Rose Thomas, Philip Russel Thomas and Leighton Ellinger. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
