She was predeceased by: her parents, Benito Garza and Rafaela M. Garza of Houston; her husband Fernando V. Martinez (Fred) of Pasadena, Texas; and her brother Arturo Garza of Houston, Texas.. She is survived by: her son Fernando G. Martinez (Kathy) of New Braunfels; her grandson Scott Martinez of Leander, Texas; her daughter Karen M. Solano; her great grandchildren, Javier "Javi" Solano Jr. of Spring, Texas and Gabriel Solano of Spring, Texas; her son Edward "Eddie" A. Martinez of Littleton, Colorado; and her sister Alice Woleben (Jerry) of Houston. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
