She was predeceased by: her husband Ernest M. Ekeroth; her parents, Irving R. Shallman and Anne Jermac Shallman; her siblings, Bob Shallman (Mary), Bill Shallman (Nancy) and Elaine Grace (Raymond); and her son-in-law Jamie K. Borah.
She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey Ekeroth (Shelley) of Houston, Jeanne Borah of Houston, Douglas Ekeroth (Veronica) of Pittsburgh, PA and Brian Ekeroth of Spring; her grandchildren, Lauren Borah Gauthier (Andy) of Boston, MA, Danielle Ekeroth of Boston, MA and Benjamin Ekeroth of Cupertino, CA; and her great grandchildren, Quinn and Beck Gauthier. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
