He was predeceased by: his parents, James Ellis and Helene Hansmann Ellis; and his siblings, Ruth Meadows, Ruby Mills, John "Sonny" Ellis and Annie James.
He is survived by: his wife Denise Ellis; his child Ryan Ellis (Ashley); his grandchildren, Ryder and Emerson; his son Aaron Ellis (Jodi); his granddaughters, Zoe and Mae; his child Stacy Ellis (Kevin); his grandchildren, Tiffany and Lauren; and his siblings-in-law, Joe Bob James and Brenda Ellis. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Lux Funeral Home & Cremation Services (1254 I-35BL, New Braunfels, TX 78130).
