He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Richard and Mary Kathryn Clary Fry. He is survived by: his wife Carole; his son Matt Fry (Kindra); his grandchildren, Cody Fry (Dawn) of Albany, Texas., Faith, Riley, Grace and Ethan; his siblings, Mary Ann Smith (Joe) of Big Sandy, Melissa Kaspar (Jeff) of Brady, Texas. and William Fry (Karen) of Burnet; and his brother-in-law Roy Matthews (Cecelia) of Mission Viejo, California.. He is also survived by five nephews and three nieces as well as eleven great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Knesek Family Funeral Chapel - Bellville - License (842 E Main St, Bellville, TX 77418). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bellville Methodist Church (234 S Masonic St, Bellville, TX 77418). A burial was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at the Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery - Bellville (2565 Pilgrims Rest Rd, Bellville, TX 77418).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the American Cancer Society or Cal Farley's Boy Ranch, P.O. Box 1890, Amarillo, Texas 79105-9985, in memory of Richard Fry.
