He is survived by: his daughters, Diane Zuniga and Jennifer Vega (Dusty Vega); his grandchildren, Maricela Morales, Elizabeth Davenport, Nadia Davenport, Genevieve Vega, Joshua Davenport, Dean Davenport and Jacob Davenport; his sisters, Mary Guajardo and Lucy Reyes; his wife Diane Zuniga; and his siblings, Mike Zuniga, Irene Hernandez and Molly Castillo.

He was a parishioner at St. Joseph's Honey Creek and donated to numerous charities.
