It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Velma Maxine Pyle of Splendora, Texas, who passed away on December 20, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sherrell Edward Mackey and Vivian Otie Mackey (Lemley); her husband James Kenneth Pyle; her siblings, Marvin Mackey and Chlora Vee Cook; and her daughter-in-law Carmen Pyle.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Ann Bowersox (Ray), Darrell Glenn Pyle (Michelle K. Pyle), Garry Lynn Pyle Sr., Theresa A. Justice (Tad Justice) and Kenneth Wayne Pyle (Donna); her siblings, Edward Mackey (Linda), Virgie Smith and Melva Strahan; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Skinner, Donald Bowersox, Rhonda Junick, Tina Shrum, Darrell Pyle, Jr., Cynthia Pyle, Garry Pyle, Jr., Christopher Bowersox, Chasila Bowersox, Dustin Justice, Brad Pyle and Brittany Pyle. She is also survived by 27 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.
