It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steven Allan Hawkins of Splendora, Texas, born in Eustis, Florida, who passed away on June 13, 2022, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Hawkins and Janet Hawkins; his mother-in-law Harlene Shook; his brother-in-law Brian Shook; and also Michael Dueboay.
He is survived by: his wife Robin Hawkins; his son Justin (Maegan); his grandson Garret; his son Tanner (Shelby); his grandchildren, Brantley, Raylee and Grayson; his daughter Haley (Jacob); his granddaughter Ella Rain; his brothers-in-law, Randall and Harley Shook; and his siblings, Kathy Roberts and David Hawkins. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and life-long friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Veterans of Foreign War Post 4816 in Porter, Texas in Steve's name. There is also a GoFundMe set up for resulting expenses.
