He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Lyons and Roselyn Booker Lyons; and his siblings, Richard Lyons, Junior Lyons and Betty Lyons.
He is survived by: his wife Waynette Lyons; his daughters, Tracy Lyons and Melissa Lyons; his grandchildren, Christopher John Allen and Aubree Allen; his brother Charles Lyons (Rosie); his father-in-law Wayne Warren; and his sister-in-law Karen (David Rogers). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Highpoint Fellowship (12308 US-59 BUS, Splendora, TX 77372). A burial was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at the Pace-Stancil Memorial (12901 FM 2025, Cleveland, TX 77328).
