She is survived by: her husband James Byrd Steele; her son Richard Barton Steele (Shannon Steele); her grandchildren, Rebecca, Philip Steele and Along; her great grandchild Ryan Christopher Steele (Christie Steele); her sisters, Laurie Harris Adams (Tom Adams) and Nancy Harris Mathews (Darroll Mathews); and also, Christopher Steele and Joshua Mertink. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews; as well as many other family members and friends.
