Ruby Marie Janak Obituary

In loving memory of Ruby Marie Janak of Spicewood, Texas, who departed this world on December 2, 2024 at the age of 93. Ruby Marie leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Frank Janak; her granddaughter Madeline Janak; her parents, Ben Pavelka and Albina Pavelka; and her siblings, Bill Pavelka, Olene Thun and Adele Rendek.

She is survived by: her children, Mark Janak (Honda), Michael Janak (Amber), Catherine Brennan (Chris) and Melisa Kocsis (Matt); her grandchildren, Bret Janak (Ann), Audra Curlett (Joshua), Alexandra Mutch (David), Kelsea Hiebert (Emery), Haden Janak, Grayson Kocsis and Hannah Kocsis; her great grandchildren, Colton Janak, Crosby Janak, Clara Janak, Cooper Janak, Jack Curlett, Eleanor Curlett, Charlotte Curlett and Floyd Mutch; and her brother John Pavelka (Janie). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.

Viewing was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 6:00 PM and on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Memorial Chapel of Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home (14501 N Interstate Hwy 35, Austin, TX 78753). A rosary was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
