Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved John Wesley Lingo of Spicewood, Texas, born in Austin, Texas, who passed away at the age of 92, on August 5, 2021. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Walter and Elizabeth Sternadl Lingo; his former wife Helen Ranly Lingo; his wife Ann Chandler Lingo; his children, Bernadette Lingo (Brad), James Lingo (Debra), Gretchen Shipman (Micky), Jennifer Shedd (Dennis), Ray Chandler (Tina) and Ron Chandler; and his sister Jane Lingo. He was also cherished by 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, John's wish was for donations to be made to the Military Order of the Purple Heart, Texas Capital Chapter 1919, PO Box 3185, Cedar Park, TX 78630 or Cal Farley's Boys Ranch, PO Box 1890, Amarillo TX 79105.
