She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Burton and Oneata Burton; her brother Roy Jr. Burton; and her husband Woodrow Bowden. She is survived by: her sons, Allan (Susan) and Stephen (Kathy); her grandchildren, Mandy, Josh, Chantel and Justin; and her great grandchildren, Ivy Sue, Millie, Sam, Maggie, Georgia and Jacob.

A graveside service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Fowler Cemetery.
