It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary McLain Brock of Spearman, Texas, who passed away on January 17, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, L. S. McLain and Ada Estelle Hamilton McLain; her husband J. L.; and her grandson Jeff Brock. She is survived by: her children, Debra (Jim Brown) of Austin, TX., Kim (Stephanie Brock) of Spearman, TX and Todd (Christy Brock) of Dallas, TX.; her sister Mona May of Austin, TX.; her grandchildren, Cami Brown Brumley (Jeremy), Amanda Brown May (Colby), Janna Brock, Jordan Brock (Jessica), John Brock (Courtney), Meg Brock Morris (Cody), Meryl Brock Posey (Kyle) and Mackenzie Brock Piatkowski (Andrew); and her great grandchildren, Ellie, Ren Murphy, Carter, Coen May, Benjamin, Evie Brock, Riley, Reed, Reece Brock, Owen, Zoe, Ava Morris, Will, Sam, Alice Posey, Jett, Frankie Sue and Ace Piatkowski. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home (519 Evans St, Spearman, TX 79081). A memorial service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church ~ Spearman (123 S Bernice St, Spearman, TX 79081).
