He was predeceased by: his father Charles Laxton; and his brothers, Floyd and Charles Laxton. He is survived by: his mother Claudine Beal Laxton of Spearman; his daughter Alexis Laxton of Amarillo, TX.; and his grandson Roper Davis.

Family suggests memorials be to the American Cancer Society.
