He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth V. Monk and Angela O; and his brother Robert A. Monk. He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his children, Yvette Hopper of Spearman and Dennis Monk of Spearman, Texas; and his siblings, Martha Manasco of Stinnett, Verna Herndon of Plano, Rosetta Barrera of Spearman, Texas, Joe Monk (KV) of Gardendale, Paul Monk of Weatherford, Roy Monk of Graham and Billy Monk of Cibolo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
