It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Ervin Lloyd (Southlake, Texas), born in Charlotte, North Carolina, who passed away on January 10, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Lloyd and Norvelle Lloyd; and his brother John Lloyd. He is survived by: his wife Carol Long; his children, Allyson Daigle (Charlie) and Jeff Lloyd (Misti); his grandchildren, William Joseph Liska (Ashleigh), Elizabeth Liska (Jonatan Flores), Kennedi McClain Lloyd and Bristol Miranda Lloyd; his great grandchild Adilynn Liska; and his sisters, Willie Merrell (Benny), Minnie Dukes (Lee), Ruth Ward (Jim) and Cathy Kulla (David). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was a member of the HEB American Legion Post 379, the U.S. Army Historical Foundation and FOE Eagles 3719.
